About Benchmade
Benchmade traces its roots to 1979, when Les de Asis began making knives in California. The company took the Benchmade name in 1988 and today is based in Oregon City, Oregon, where its knives are manufactured.
Benchmade is known for precision-made folding knives such as the Griptilian and the Bugout, for its patented AXIS® lock and for its LifeSharp® service, which offers free sharpening for the life of the knife.
